Prenatal
Standard prenatal visits are scheduled monthly until 28 weeks, then bi-weekly until 36 weeks, and weekly visits will be performed until the birth. One home visit is scheduled for 36 weeks, this is to ensure that the environment is conducive for a safe home birth. If at any time during pregnancy there is the need for more frequent visits we will adjust schedules accordingly.

Labor & Delivery
We are a homebirth practice and will do deliveries for women in their homes or in a safe and appropriate environment. This is the time where proper education, support, and encouragement are typically needed the most. We will be there for our clients when they have questions, concerns, and need help making informed decisions. Clients will be able to contact us via text and or calling at any point needed. Depending on clients’ personal desires and wellbeing we can help them design and develop a birth plan to accommodate their personal desires for their birth experience.

Postpartum Care
The initial postpartum visit will be done at 24-48 hours after birth and subsequent visits will be scheduled for 3rd-4th day, 7th-10th day, 2-3 weeks, and 6-8 weeks postpartum. The postpartum period extends through the first 6 weeks of a newborns life. We are qualified to provide newborn care for up to 2 weeks postpartum. The frequency and length between checks will depend on the status of both mother and baby.
