Preventative care is included in our monthly membership – (i.e. annual physical and preventative care recommendations).
Services / Member Benefits
Direct Primary Care (DPC) offers preventative and acute care services, making us a comprehensive primary care provider. Below is an attempt to list common services by DPC, however, this is not meant to be a comprehensive list or any guarantee of services.
Urgent Primary Care
Direct Primary Care strives to provide same day to next day urgent care access for injury or acute illness. Issues such as sprains, fractures, lacerations requiring stitches, infections, and more are considered “injury or acute illness.”
We have found imaging partners willing to arrange same day to next day xrays at a flat $95 fee.

Our clinic location is open 8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. With the exception of holidays and a rare clinic closure, we are available for members during those times for in-person visits. We offer 24/7 phone availability to members, reserving after-hours phone calls to urgent care needs.
Should an urgent injury or illness occur after-hours and care is necessary prior to the next clinic opening, our recommendation is to utilize the 24/7 phone access to our on-call provider for treatment recommendations.
We cannot guarantee after-hours and weekend availability in-person at this time, but we will do our best to provide treatment after-hours when possible.
Chronic Condition Management
A membership with Direct Primary Care is perfect for those who are managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and many others. We will take the necessary time it takes to understand your condition and help you manage it in the best way possible.
Medications and Prescriptions
Prescriptions can be sent to your pharmacy of choice or dispensed in-house from a limited stock of acute medications (antibiotics, steroids, etc.). Your provider will work to help you source your meds at the most affordable price. We do not stock or dispense narcotics, or controlled medications as a policy.
Laboratory Testing
Direct Primary Care offers basic on-site laboratory testing (basic urine tests, strep throat testing, glucose testing, and others) free of charge to members. Labs performed out-of-house are resulted by LabCorp and their cash-pay pricing through DPC is 70-90% cheaper than insurance billed pricing.
Office Procedures & Supplies
A membership with Direct Primary Care includes a number of in-office procedures like wound care, stitches, EKG, cryotherapy, skin tag removal, injections (medication/injectables will be charged an additional at-cost fee), and more. We are always expanding our services, so it may be best to ask with a DPC administrator if you are looking for a specific service.
Vaccines
We do not currently provide vaccination support, however, there is a local pediatric group willing to provide immunizations for a nominal fee to DPC members. Adult immunizations are recommended to get from local pharmacies at this time.
Prenatal & Delivery
We highly recommend Lilac City Midwifery for prenatal and delivery services for appropriate members. DPC members get a 10% discount when utilizing their services!
Specialty Care Coordination
When a procedure, illness, or medical issue reaches beyond our scope of expertise, we will act as your referring specialist – coordinating the referral, communicating with the specialist, and helping to follow through with your care plan.
Hospital & ER Visit Coordination
If you have a serious emergency requiring immediate medical attention, call 911, then call your Direct Primary Care provider as they will desire to be involved in coordinating your care during your stay and up to your discharge as appropriate.
Affordable Counseling
We began to offer mental health services in response to the lack of affordable counseling for those who are cash-pay. Many people were being charged $120-$160/session which puts counseling financially out of reach for many people! We offer 50-minute sessions for $60/session – 50%+ less than typical counseling costs!
Not Covered
Membership with Direct Primary Care does not include the following: specialist care, advanced imaging, emergency services, or complementary and alternative care such as acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, or naturopathy. We will, however, be pleased to help you find the best source and price for these types of care as needed.
